In July of 2017, H3 was commissioned by the Ambassador Theater Group to re-imagine the public spaces of the existing Lyric Theatre in Times Square for the resident production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. H3 was tasked with bringing the wizarding world of Harry Potter off the stage and into 11,000sf of public spaces, where patrons are enveloped in patterns, textures, and imagery that extend their theater experience. H3 worked closely with artists, sculptors, and scenic designers to incorporate carpet patterns, wall coverings, light fixtures, and original art works into a unified experience. The Tony-winning play continues to be Broadway’s most successful non-musical play and has become an indelible addition to the Times Square experience.
